Rooms and Rates

We offer options of Room Only (£95 per night per room minimum 2 night stay) or Room with Continental Breakfast (£110 per night per room). Prices are total price per room for up to two people, based on minimum 2 night stay and do NOT include use of spa facilities. We offer continental style breakfast only. We do not offer discounted rates for sole occupancy: prices are per room only. Rates are different during TT and MGP/Classic TT. There is an extra surcharge of £30 per room for one night stays.

 

There is a minimum of 2 nights stay (unless it's a group booking all 3 rooms).

Bookings and deposits 

Bookings can be made by phone, email or by filling in our 'Enquiry Form' or our website booking form. Bookings must include a name, telephone number and email address.

Following receipt of your booking enquiry, we will check availability and confirm this with you by email as soon as possible (usually within 2 working days).

 

We ask for 50% non refundable deposit per booking (however if booking 1 room for 1 night on the occasions we advertise these we ask for £100 deposit) to confirm your booking. Full payments are required in advance for TT and MGP/Classic TT (see below).

Provisional bookings can only be held for a maximum of 7 days pending receipt of deposit, or if booking within 2 weeks of arrival date, deposits must be received within 3 days.

Payments

Our preferred payment method is via direct payment online into our bank account. Payment can be also be made by cash or cheque if guests are unable to pay online. Apologies but we are unable to process debit or credit cards.

Cancellation policy

This is our standard cancellation policy. Different conditions apply over TT and Classic TT (see below).

In the event of cancellation, your initial deposit is non-returnable (see exemption below re COVID 19)*.  You will also be liable to pay the balance due to all cancellations that occur any later than 3 weeks prior to arrival date if we cannot re-let the rooms.  However, if we can re-let the rooms, we will offer your initial deposit back. We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover you for any potential reasons that you may need to cancel.  To cancel a booking, please contact us via email, text/phone or facebook messenger. We will confirm by email that your booking has been cancelled. 

Cancellation policy re COVID 19, closed borders to the IOM or premises forced to close

If you are cancelling due to having COVID yourself, self isolating, or being a close contact with someone who has COVID, unfortunately we cannot refund your initial deposit- however we will offer you a new booking date using your initial deposit. The transferred booking prices will be based on the latest rates at the new booking time

An exception to this non-returnable deposit is if our premises are forced to closed by Government (e.g. due to COVID 19), or non Island guests cannot travel to the Island due to the borders being closed by Government. We will do our best to transfer your deposit to a new booking when available. The transferred booking prices will be based on the latest rates at the new booking time. We will only consider a refund if the borders are closed so you cannot travel to the Island, and we cannot agree another suitable booking date- no other reason will be offered a refund of the initial deposit.

 

TT and MGP/Classic TT

TT and MGP/Classic TT are subject to a minimum of 7 nights stay.

 

We ask for 50% deposit at the time of booking, a further 25% by January of the year of the booking, and final 25% on arrival.

Cancellations during TT and MGP/Classic TT are subject to a different cancellation policy. Refunds following cancellation will only be given if the room has been re-let for the whole booking.  If we are able to re-let the rooms for some of the booking, we will refund what we have managed to re-let. We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover you for any potential reasons that you may need to cancel. 

Room Availability

Check in for rooms is available from 4.00pm to 9.00pm, earlier or later only by prior arrangement if possible with bookings. Check out is 10.30am. We can store bags for the day and will try to be as flexible as possible to accommodate guests whilst allowing for new arrivals. 

 

Smokefree Premises
We are are a non-smoking establishment. We will explain on arrival where our outdoor smoking areas are.

 

Liability

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss, illness or injury to any guests or guests' vehicles or possessions. Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its contents and therefore we recommend that you have adequate holiday insurance.

Allergies to cats

Guests allergic to cats should anticipate the presence of the two short-haired female cats, Maisie and Rosie. They spend a lot of time in the garden and are not allowed in guest bedrooms, however they do use the shared areas. Guests with allergies to cats should consider using appropriate medication. Hillingford B&B will not be held liable for any consequent health issues.

Hillingford B&B facilities

Our rooms, garden and spa facilities are exclusively for the enjoyment of guests booked to stay at Hillingford B&B overnight. We request guests do not invite other people to our property. If guests do invite any other persons onto the premises, they will be liable for any damage, loss, illness or injury to these persons or other guests, guests' vehicles or possessions. Please note we live on the premises, and this is our home, that we care for.

Privacy Policy

Any data collected during the course of your enquiries or bookings is used for Hillingford B&B purposes only in order to provide you with the best service possible. With your permission we may from time to time contact you about promotions and offers. You may opt out of this at any time by emailing us at hillingford@outlook.com. We will not share your details with any third party unless you are asking us to assist with a booking (for example- a local activity/restaurant booking etc).
